Industrial chillers include air-cooled chillers, water-cooled chillers, and screw chillers, which are widely used in the plastic industry, pharmaceutical industry, food processing industry, chicken hatching bases, etc. However, many customers do not know how to use the industrial chiller after purchasing it, and do not know whether the machine is working properly. Let's talk about the main signs of normal operation of the chiller.

1. Condenser: Water-cooled chiller cooling water system: The cooling water should be sufficient, the water pressure should reach more than 0.15MPa, and the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet water should not be too large, otherwise it indicates insufficient water flow.

2. Compressor: When the compressor is running, the optimal superheat is 4~8 degrees, the maximum suction superheat does not exceed 15℃, and the condensation phenomenon is limited to the compressor return air pipe, and there should be no frost in other parts. There should be no local heating and frost on the outer wall of the compressor, and the surface temperature should not be greater than 15-20℃ than the evaporation temperature. The exhaust temperature of the screw compressor should not exceed 90℃. If it exceeds 105℃, liquid spray cooling should be added.

3. Oil temperature: The oil temperature of the scroll machine should not exceed 80℃ under any circumstances, and the minimum should be 10℃ higher than the evaporation temperature.

4. Condensation pressure: The pressure of the air-cooled condenser R22 should not exceed 2.2Mpa, and the pressure of the water-cooled condenser R22 should not exceed 2.0Mpa.

4. Oil level: The oil level should be visible at the horizontal center line of the oil sight glass, otherwise there may be an oil level problem.

5. Liquid pipeline filter: The temperature difference between the front and rear should not be too large, and frosting should not occur, otherwise it will be blocked. The joints of the fluorine system should not leak oil, and oil leakage indicates fluorine leakage. ‌‌

6.‌Operation sound‌: The sound of the compressor should be clear and uniform, without any knocking sound‌

7.‌Pressure gauge and thermometer‌: The pointers of each pressure gauge should be relatively stable, and the thermometer should indicate correctly‌.

Common faults and treatment methods‌ include:

1.‌High pressure protection (condensing pressure is too high)‌: It may be due to small amount of cooling water in the condenser, air or non-condensable gas in the system, excessive refrigerant filling, etc.

2.‌Insufficient cooling water flow‌: It may cause poor cooling effect, and it is necessary to check whether the water pump is working properly‌.

3.‌Abnormal oil level‌: The oil level should be visible at the horizontal center line of the oil sight glass, otherwise there may be an oil level problem‌.

4.‌Liquid pipeline filter is clogged‌: There is a large temperature difference between the front and back or there is frost, so it is necessary to check and clean the filter.

5.‌Fluorine system joints leaking fluorine‌: Check whether the joints are leaking oil and repair them if necessary
